Ingredients
- 1 beef chuck roast about 3 pounds trimmed
- 1/2 large onion diced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 10 garlic cloves
- 1 jalapeno pepper diced
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger root peeled and grated
- 2 tbls seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tbls sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Service with corn or flour tortillas
Instructions
- Put chuck roast into the crock of a slow cooker
- Add all other ingredients
- Cook for 8 hours on high
- Shred meat and stir into liquid that's in the slow cooker.
- Serve with your favorite taco toppings
