1 beef chuck roast about 3 pounds trimmed 1/2 large onion diced 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 10 garlic cloves 1 jalapeno pepper diced 1 inch piece of fresh ginger root peeled and grated 2 tbls seasoned rice vinegar 1 tbls sesame oil salt and pepper to taste Service with corn or flour tortillas
Put chuck roast into the crock of a slow cooker
Add all other ingredients
Cook for 8 hours on high
Shred meat and stir into liquid that's in the slow cooker.
