Snickerdoodles
Who doesn't love a good Snickerdoodle? We can't think of anyone. This is our favorite, no fail recipe.
Instructions
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl cream at medium speed butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
- Add to creamed mixture until well blended. Refrigerate dough 30 minutes.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Form dough into small balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Remove and cool on rack.
- Cook for 8 to 10 minutes
