These are super easy cookies to make and delicious!  An old family favorite. My Grandma Ruth made these and called them Angel Turds (she was a character). You'll love them!

Equipment

  • Baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 nd bowl of powdered sugar for coating.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Form 1 inch Balls or finger shapes
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom
  • Roll in powdered sugar while warm
