Honey Roasted Carrots
Flavors abound in tasty side dish. The cumin and honey set of the taste of fresh carrots.
Ingredients
- 12 medium/large carrots peeled and cut diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Put carrots into a large resealable plastic bag
- Add olive oil, honey, cumin, salt and pepper
- Seal bag and thoroughly coast carrots
- Put into a cookie sheet and lay out evenly
- Roast in oven until just tender, 30 to 40 minutes.
