Instapot 15 Bean Soup

15 bean soup made quick and easy in your Instapot.

1 package Hambeens 15 bean soup

1 tbls olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

1 cup celery (about 2 stalks), diced

3 carrots, diced

2 cups ham, ham bone or ham hock

1 bay leaf

4 cups water

4 cups chicken broth

Juice of 1 lemon

14 oz diced tomatoes with juice


1Rinse beans and drain.

2Sort any unwanted debris and set seasoning packet aside.

3Turn Instant Pot on saute.

4Add olive oil and onion. Saute until tender, about 4 minutes.

5Add all ingredients except the lemon juice and tomatoes and stir.

6Place the lid on and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.

7Quick release pressure.

8Open the lid and remove ham bone or hock if used.

9Add the lemon juice and tomatoes.

10Turn on saute again and simmer to reheat.

11Stir, serve and enjoy.
