1 to 2boneless good sizedskinless chicken breast halves
1, 4ozcan green chilies
1, 8ozcan tomato sauce
1, 14.5ozcan diced tomatoesnot drained
1teas cumin
2teas chili powder
1/2teas garlic powder
6cupschicken broth
1teas saltkosher is best
2tablespoonscilantro leaves chopped
tortilla strips or corn chips
Sliced Avocadoshredded cheese, sour cream for toppings
Place the bell pepperonion, corn, black beans, chicken, green chilies, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, chicken broth and salt into a crock pot. Combine well.
Cover and cook on on for 4 hours or LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove the chicken breasts and shred using two forks.
Put the chicken back in the pot.
Add the chopped cilantro and stir to combine.
Put in bowls.
Enjoy!
