Pumpkin Smoothie Recipe

This guilty pleasure is actually backed with protein, Try this easy to make smoothie before you dig into that pumpkin pie - you're going to LOVE IT!

  • Yields: 1 to 2 servings



1 frozen banana

1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup Almond or coconut milk

2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup (or packet of Truvia, etc).

2/3 cup pumpkin puree (fresh or canned)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup ice

Whip Cream (optional but awesome)



2Put everything except the whip cream into a blend and blend until well combined.

3Pour into 1 or 2 glasses (makes 1 huge smoothie or two calorie smart ones) and top off with whip cream and a bit of cinnamon or pumpkin spice.
