Crock Pot Taco Meat with an Asian flair

Tacos with an Asian Flair

Tired of making traditional tacos? Give this recipe a try! So Good!

  • Cook: 8 hrs


1 beef chuck roast (about 3 pounds) trimmed

1/2 large onion diced

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

10 garlic cloves

1 jalapeno pepper, diced

1 inch piece of fresh ginger root (peeled and grated)

2 tbls seasoned rice vinegar

1 tbls sesame oil

salt and pepper to taste

Service with corn or flour tortillas


1Put chuck roast into the crock of a slow cooker

2Add all other ingredients

3Cook for 8 hours on high

4Shred meat and stir into liquid that's in the slow cooker.

5Serve with your favorite taco toppings

6warm corn or taco sized flour tortillas.
