Candied Lima Beans

This is such a good lima bean recipe and healthy too. Some say there one of the world's healthiest foods.

  • Yields: 4 to 6 servings.

Ingredients

1/4 cup honey

2 tbls butter

1 teas grated orange rind

4 cups lima beans drained (medium to large sized)

A pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg or to taste

Directions

1Melt better in a large skillet.

2Stir in the orange peel and honey.

3Add lima beans and cook, stirring gently until glazed

4Flavor with your spice of choice.
