Asian Coffee Jelly

Just had this a a Japanese restaurant the other day - So refreshing! Once I make it I'll post a picture 🙂

Ingredients

1 ounce unflavored gelatin

4 cups water

2 tablespoons prepaid, , strong, rich flavored coffee (espresso)

1/2 cup sugar

14 ounces condensed milk

12 3/4 ounces table cream

Directions

1Heat 3 cups of hot, rich coffee (espresso) and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

2In a large bowl, sprinkle the gelatin on the remaining 1 cup of cold water.

3Let stand for about 1 minute or until gelatin powder begins to bloom.

4Gradually add the 3 cups of boiling coffee and stir constantly for about 2 to 3 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved and no granules are visible.

5Transfer mixture into a baking dish and allow to completely cool. Refrigerate for about 2 to 3 hours or until completely set.

6In a bowl, combine condensed milk and table cream. Stir until blended.

7Cut set gelatin into 1-inch cubes and divide into serving cups.

8Top with sweetened cream.

9Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate (optional)

10Serve cold.
